Version 2.x.x introduces a new library, discord.py-self. This library has a better syntax and more well-mantained than discum - the old library that is used in 1.x.x
This version series include a lot of changes to how the bot works. But features from old version stay. Here's the changes:

- A new coding syntax which follows PEP8's style with nice indentation
- A new version naming style, this follows PEP440
- Almost all features from old version is included and upgraded
- The UI is simplified for a faster experience
- A rich presence is added, which showsw statistics while grinding
