Translate pages on your device in English, Japanese, German, Spanish, French, Korean, Portuguese, and Simplified or Traditional Chinese. Page text is never sent to a translation service.
Translate from the toolbar or right-click menu in normal tabs, Link Preview, and split views. Choose your preferred language, correct the detected page language, or return to the original text.
Download and manage language packs, see which packs are already downloaded, and translate offline after the required packs are installed.

Remember your preferred translation language across pages and restarts.
Keep forms, editable text, and code unchanged while translating, and preserve links and text formatting where they can be mapped safely.

Fixed technical English pages failing to start translation when language detection was uncertain.
Prevented isolated words with empty translations from stopping the entire page translation or disappearing.
