@ag-ui/aws-strands@1.0.0
- Audio attachments now delivered as native Strands AudioBlocks via @strands-agents/sdk 1.14.0+, detected at runtime; audio persists byte-for-byte in unified and legacy storage.
- Audio input is now opt-in: delivered only when
StrandsAgentConfig.audioInputSupportedis true; otherwise reported inMediaDropped. - Audio attachments retain the client's original filename in native message metadata, matching image, document and video.
_runStartednow setsprotocolVersion: PROTOCOL_VERSIONon RUN_STARTED.- Frontend tool results now reconciled into snapshot sessions (
SnapshotSessionManager), replacing synthetic placeholder messages. - Validators now sourced from
@ag-ui/core/schemas, with part renames and provider-specific tool result flattening.
Breaking changes
- Peer floors for
@ag-ui/coreand@ag-ui/clientmoved to>=1.0.0; code imports@ag-ui/core/schemas, which does not exist before 1.0. - Model-class audio auto-detection and seed rebuild removed; audio no longer delivered automatically based on BedrockModel detection in some paths—set
audioInputSupportedexplicitly. - Binary inputs retired and SDK checkpoint floor unified; re-verify media handling.

ag_ui_strands@1.0.0
- Audio attachments now delivered as native Strands audio blocks on strands-agents 1.53.0+, persisting byte-for-byte across session managers; dropped audio reported via MediaDropped on older SDKs.
- Audio input is opt-in: only delivered to BedrockModel/LlamaCppModel or when
StrandsAgentConfig.audio_input_supported=True; otherwise the clip is skipped instead of failing later turns. - Original client filenames now kept for audio attachments and in native session storage, matching image, document, and video.
- Tool results carrying media now replay as media rather than text; blocks are held to formats Strands accepts.
- Replayed media blocks validated against supported formats; mismatched or mis-spelled formats (e.g. "PNG", "tiff") are skipped instead of becoming invalid native blocks.
- Tool result content now keeps only blocks a tool result can carry, dropping unsupported audio/video arms.
RunStartedEventnow carriesprotocol_version=PROTOCOL_VERSION.- Fixed per-thread agents being pinned to the template's model via Strands'
aux_modelfallback property.
Breaking changes
- Requires ag-ui-protocol >=1.0.0; binary input parts are rejected at
RunAgentInputvalidation, so only media parts reach the converter. StrandsAgentConfig.audio_input_supportedis now a bool defaulting toFalse; model-class auto-detection is removed. Enable explicitly for models that accept audio.- Audio is no longer delivered to providers whose formatters cannot carry it unless the model is Bedrock/LlamaCpp or the flag is set.
ag-ui-crewai@1.0.0
- Declares
protocol_version=PROTOCOL_VERSIONon everyRunStartedEvent, including both StreamFrameTranslator sites and the legacy bus listener. - Adapter now sources validators from
@ag-ui/core/schemas, follows part renames, flattens tool result content to text where needed, and drops file sources with a warning instead of sending provider handles. - Resumed native sessions now require native frames and use unified streaming; teardown is bounded and cleanup is cancelled at its deadline.
- Removed the leftover
uvicorn<0.35.0cap, allowing installation alongside packages needing uvicorn 0.35+ such as fastmcp 2.14 (floor remains 0.34.3).
Breaking changes
- Requires
ag-ui-protocol>=1.0.0; the protocol floor was raised to 1.0. RUN_STARTEDevents now include aprotocolVersionfield; consumers parsing these events should re-verify handling.- Adapter validation moved to the 1.0 models with renamed parts; tool result content is flattened to text and unsupported file sources are dropped, changing emitted output.
- Resumed native sessions now require native frames.
