AetherSDR v0.4.10
Critical: Audio Fix for Ubuntu/Debian
- AppImage rebuilt with Qt 6.7 via aqtinstall on Ubuntu 22.04 base — fixes empty audio device dropdowns and no audio output on Ubuntu 24.04, Debian 12+, and other modern distros
- Root cause: Ubuntu 22.04's Qt 6.2.4 had no separate multimedia plugin — linuxdeploy couldn't bundle it. Now using Qt 6.7.3 which ships the multimedia backend as a proper loadable plugin
- Bundles GStreamer audio plugins (pulseaudio, alsa, pipewire) directly in the AppImage
- 48kHz fallback: AudioEngine now automatically upsamples RX (24k→48k) and downsamples TX (48k→24k) for devices that don't natively support 24kHz
- Diagnosed with help from a second Claude instance running inside an Ubuntu 24.04 VM
XVTR Transverter Support
- XVTR button in band grid opens transverter sub-panel with configured bands
- "HF" button returns to regular band grid
- Context-aware frequency entry: on XVTR bands, bare integers get decimal after 3rd digit (1446 → 144.6 MHz)
Direct Frequency Entry
- Double-click the frequency display (VFO widget or RX applet) to type a frequency
- Accepts: 14.225 (MHz), 14225 (kHz), 14225000 (Hz), 14.225.000 (dotted)
NR2 UX Improvements
- 3-state NR button: Off → NR → NR2 → Off
- FFTW wisdom dialog: progress after each plan, breathing animation, auto-close messaging
Windows Fix
- Bundle
libfftw3-3.dllin Windows ZIP (fixes #81)
4O3A Antenna Genius Support (contributed by @EI6JGB)
- UDP discovery, TCP control, per-port antenna grid, band→antenna memory
