The in-radio Tailscale relay that AetherSDR installs from Waveforms → Install… → Remote Access (Tailscale) (RFC #6271; PR #6945). Setup guide: Tailscale Remote Access.
These are packages for the radio, not an AetherSDR release. AetherSDR downloads the one your radio takes, and refuses any other bytes.

Changes since 0.5.0:
- FLEX-6000 radios. The shim now runs as a legacy waveform,
AetherTailnet, on the 6000's single ARMv7 core. It ships gzipped and unpacks into RAM at each start, because the radio's waveform partition is small (about 13–17 MB free on a 6400 or 6700). Its sign-in persists beside the waveform, so uninstalling the waveform removes it. On a 6000, AetherSDR picks this package by itself. - Tailscale's logs and caches go to RAM, while the node's identity stays in the state directory (
-run-dir). - The shim's first log line names its state directory.
- The container's behavior is unchanged from 0.5.0. AetherSDR keeps installing the 0.5.0 container until a later release moves its pin.
Both files are reproducible from this tag: tools/flex-tailnet-shim/native/build.py (the 6000 package) and tools/flex-tailnet-shim/build.sh (the container). They need Go 1.27.1 and CPython 3.14 / zlib 1.3.2. To install by hand, use Waveforms → Install… → Legacy Waveform (.ssdr_waveform)… on a 6000, or Docker Waveform Image… on an 8000 or Aurora.
