Bug fixes

  • Crash on launch fixed (#47, #62): the app crashed when the call log contained a call from a hidden/private number. This also affected the second launch after granting the call log permission.
  • Pattern, blocked and whitelisted number lists fixed (#50, #59, #60): the OK/Cancel buttons of the list dialogs were invisible (white on white in light mode, black on black in dark mode), so entries could never be saved. Text typed but not added with "+" is now also saved when pressing OK.
  • Patterns now match every number format (#60): a pattern such as 030389* now blocks +39030389.... Wildcard matching was also rewritten (prefix and suffix can no longer overlap).
  • Whitelist and contacts now work across formats (#28): 612345678, +34612345678 and 0034612345678 are treated as the same number, and contacts are looked up with every number format.
  • Answer and Hang Up fixed (#63): the call screening service crashed with this option enabled, so the call went through and callers could leave a voicemail. It now silences the call, answers it once it rings and hangs up.
  • Tellows toggle fixed: disabling Tellows in the settings had no effect.
  • Export/Import buttons in the settings were hidden behind the action bar: they are now always visible.
  • Call screening role dialog no longer reopens in a loop if you decline it.
  • Update checker: no longer crashes if the app is closed while checking, and only offers versions newer than the installed one.
  • Blocked calls from hidden numbers are shown as "Unknown" in the call log.

Other changes

  • Call log filtering by type (incoming, blocked, missed, outgoing) (#58, thanks @jelectric).
  • Updated Japanese translation (#61, thanks @reindex-ot).
  • Added missing Russian, Portuguese and Italian translations.
  • Added unit tests for the number matching logic.
