mcptoon v0.7.10
A correctness release: compressed tool manifests no longer make agents emit silently-wrong calls.
Fixed
manifest --fullnow shows each parameter'senumanddefault. The
human-readable full view used to drop them, so an agent that could see the
values natively instead emitted syntactically-valid but semantically inert
calls — e.g.navigate_pagewithouttype=url, a silent no-op.--full
costs +87 tokens (still ~68% under native); the default compact /--slim
tiers are unchanged.validate_argsnow rejects an out-of-enum scalar (previously required +
type only), closing a serve-mode gateway blind spot where a wrong
discriminator (colorScheme:"PINK") was forwarded verbatim to the server.
Added
- Schema-cache content fingerprint. Each cache entry stores a sha256
signature of the server's callable surface (tool names + required args,
hardened againstnull/malformed schemas).set_cached_toolsreports whether
that surface actually changed, andserve's parallel manifest refresh logs
tool-set drift from the signal — no payload diffing.
Docs
- README (EN + 中文) now states the load-bearing rule, backed by a measured
41-tool test: an agent guessing args from names-only lands 4/41 (10%),
while inspecting the 2–3 tools a turn uses hits 41/41 (100%) —
usemanifestto choose,inspectbefore you call.
