ZenNotes v1.0.3 focuses on app controls, discoverability, Linux packaging polish, and a tighter day-to-day keyboard workflow.

Highlights

• Added browser-style app zoom with Cmd/Ctrl +, Cmd/Ctrl -, and Cmd/Ctrl 0.
• Zoom now applies across the full app surface, including editor, preview, split mode, modals, and floating windows, and persists across relaunches.
• Added a native Help menu with direct links to the ZenNotes website, Discord, GitHub repo, latest release, and issue tracker.
• Added matching command palette actions for app links and Check for Updates…, so the same flows are reachable from the keyboard.
• Cmd/Ctrl + W now closes floating note windows directly.

Linux and Packaging

• Improved Linux app packaging with explicit icon assets for desktop environments.
• Added packaged runtime icon resources so installed Linux builds show the proper app icon.
• Hardened the Debian post-install step so chrome-sandbox permissions are fixed when needed without breaking installs if the path is absent.

Help and UI Polish

• Expanded the in-app Help page into a clearer manual with better onboarding and reference structure.
• Fixed sidebar interaction polish, including the selected-row blink on click.
• Improved general app discoverability around menu actions and update flows.
