Watch History Backfill
Scans your existing Jellyfin watch history and retroactively awards badges. The backfill:
- Counts all played movies and episodes per user
- Detects completed series (all episodes watched)
- Tracks library diversity, watch dates, and time-of-day patterns
- Resets badges first then rebuilds from the full history
How to use: Go to admin page (Plugin Settings → Achievement Badges) → Advanced options → click "Scan watch history" for one user or "Scan all users" for everyone.
Header Badge Icons
Equipped badges now appear as small circular icons in the top header bar next to your profile picture. Click them to go to the achievements page.
Answers to your questions:
- Does it track playback automatically? YES - the PlaybackCompletionTracker listens to Jellyfin's playback events. When you watch 80%+ of a movie/episode, it automatically counts.
- Retroactive history? YES - use the new "Scan watch history" button to backfill from existing watch data.
- Header badges? YES - equipped badges now show next to your profile pic.
Upgrade
Dashboard → Plugins → check for updates → v1.4.6 → restart.
After restart, go to admin page → Advanced → "Scan watch history" to backfill.
