MeshMonitor v4.17.1-rc4
Warning
This is a pre-release for testing. Do not use it in production.
Summary
This RC brings the Meshtastic and MeshCore configuration screens onto one shared layout (#5797). Auto Responder, Timer Triggers, Auto Acknowledge and Auto Announce now use the same cards, field groups and test boxes on both protocols. Device Configuration uses the same section shell, puts the danger zone at the bottom, asks for in-app confirmation, and goes read-only without configuration:write. Saves that reboot the node now show the reboot dialog; saves that only sometimes reboot say "may restart". Channels share one editing model, with per-channel "Save to device" and a key field you can show, copy, generate or clear. MeshCore Observer brokers are edited in MeshCore Configuration and each broker keeps its own credentials. Meshtastic MQTT quick configure now waits for Save. Every password field gets a show/hide toggle. Fixes include timers losing their last-run time on save, geofence results written to the wrong source, and Observer credential clears wiping every broker.

Issues Resolved
- #5807 Shared config section shell for automation sections
- #5808 Converge Auto Responder workflow across Meshtastic and MeshCore
- #5812 Converge Timer Triggers workflow across Meshtastic and MeshCore
- #5816 Align Auto Acknowledge and Auto Announce layouts
- #5818 Device Configuration pages on the shared section shell
- #5823 Device Configuration: most saves reboot the node, but the UI assumes they don't
- #5825 MeshCore Observer: per-broker credentials
- #5826 Channels: fix four existing bugs before the redesign
- #5827 Timer Triggers: keep the server's lastRun on save; one name across protocols
- #5828 Shared password field with show/hide
- #5829 Channels: one editing model on both protocols
- #5830 Device actions: danger zone at the bottom, in-app confirms, client gating
- #5831 MQTT / Observer: one place to edit, quick configure in the SaveBar, shared preset look
Upgrade Notes
- The MeshCore Observer's single credential block becomes per-broker credentials. Existing credentials keep working.
- "Timed Events" is now "Timer Triggers" on Meshtastic.
