What's new in 1.3.0

Game profiles (new)

  • HearBridge detects the running game by itself and shows its name and cover art.
  • Each game can have its own sound: EQ, preset, boost, volume and night mode.
  • The game's profile loads by itself when the game starts, and your usual sound comes back when it closes.
  • Each headset keeps its own profile for the same game. For example, the same game can have heavy bass on one headset and a balanced sound on another, and each one loads its own when it connects.
  • Save up to 32 games, with up to 4 headsets per game.
  • If the connected headset has no profile for the game yet, the game's latest profile from another headset is used, without overwriting it.
  • Update Game Profile button: it stays grey and lights up as soon as you change anything in the sound. Press it to save the change for that game and that headset.
  • In Settings, under Sound & games, every saved game shows the headsets saved for it. You can apply or delete the profile of a specific headset.

Headsets

  • Real battery percentage on headsets that report it, plus a low battery alert.
  • Volume from the earbuds: next/previous on earbuds with a case changes the volume, and the slider follows. You can turn this off in Settings.
  • Quick switch between saved headsets in one tap.
  • Better reconnect: headsets come back by themselves after rest mode or a lost link.
  • Sound stops cleanly when the console goes into rest mode and comes back when it wakes up.
  • Better Xbox Wireless Headset support: pairing and reconnecting work much more reliably.

Sound

  • Night mode: quieter explosions, clearer voices.
  • Latency slider with a live estimate of the delay to your ears.
  • More stable connection: sound quality recovers by itself after a short dropout.
  • Lower latency: down to 40 ms.

Design

  • New home screen, bigger and cleaner, with four sections: Headset, Sound, Connection and Log.
  • Settings in a full screen side menu: Home, Headsets, Sound & games, Details, Backup & restore.
  • New, more readable font and a new icon, also on the PS5 home screen tile.

Backup and restore

  • Save and restore all your settings to USB, the internal drive, or as a browser download.

Hebrew was dropped from the page languages.
