This release adds Client Portal v2, software projects with backlogs and sprints, a GitHub integration, project docs, and plan entitlements. It also includes security hardening and a large batch of UI fixes for light and dark mode.

• Client Portal v2: a reworked client-facing portal (#557).

  • Status and phase filters are now searchable (#521).
  • Task filters stay inside the Filters group, and the filter controls are improved (#506).
  • Custom columns now start at 180px wide, with a 100px minimum (#523).
• Time tracking: time logging and timers are blocked before a project's start date (#550).
• Settings: the practices page now has pagination (#524).

  • You can sort the members column (#549).
  • You can cancel sorting in the recently logged table (#581).
• Audit log: date presets are updated, and dates are now timezone-aware (#560).
• Project overview: field labels are replaced with an eye icon (#571).
• Navigation: the reorder handle is more visible in both light and dark mode (#518, #558). The "Add Client" option is removed from navigation (#601).
• Software project settings: the custom fields tab is removed (#596).

  • Configurable invitation and phishing protections for OSS (#619).
  • SQL injection prevention now uses parameterized queries, with Number() coercion for user input (#624, #628).
• Infrastructure: Docker images are pinned (#494).

Bug Fixes

• Time entries: the quick time entry modal now shows all accessible projects (#525).
• Task descriptions: formatting is preserved after saving (#600).
• Text encoding: HTML entities no longer show up encoded in displayed text (#594).
• Insights: task status data is corrected, and insight tables now fit their container (#514).
• Project view: chart and timeline scrolling stay in sync (#546).
• Project ID: the placeholder now shows the correct project ID (#547).
• Mapping statuses: the "Read about mapping statuses" link no longer redirects to the Worklenz blog (#541).
• Billable column: the header stays visible at all screen sizes (#559, #565).
• Migrations: role-specific permission grants are removed (#575).
• Localization: UI copy and translations are fixed (#555).
• Light and dark mode fixes
  • Label text is easier to read (#530).
  • Dropdown scrollbars show the correct colors (#502, #544).

  • Category pills have an improved layout (#463).
  • The refresh icon in the planner schedule view is consistent (#512).

Upgrade Notes

• This release includes database migrations. Run them before starting the new version, for example with npm run migrate:up in worklenz-backend/.
• Docker images are pinned, so update your image tags to match this release.
