v1.7.1
Fixed
- Subtitle lines no longer appear in the wrong order. The BBC splits one
on-screen caption into several paragraphs with identical start and end
times, one per row, positioned by the subtitle file itself. The converter
wrote each of those as its own SRT cue, so the .srt carried runs of cues
with the same timestamps. SRT has no positioning, so the player stacked
the simultaneous cues by its own rule, usually newest on top, and the rows
came out reversed: the end of a sentence above its beginning. A run of
adjacent paragraphs that share the same timing is now merged into a single
multi-line cue in document order, which is top row to bottom row. On a
real Waterloo Road episode this collapsed 40 such runs and left no cue
sharing its timestamps with its neighbour. Already-downloaded .srt files
are not rewritten; re-grab the episode to get the corrected file. Fixes #53.
Upgrade: pull ghcr.io/will-luck/iplayer-arr:1.7.1 (or :latest). No config
changes.
