----SETUP INSTRUCTIONS START----
STEP 1: Scroll to the bottom of this page and download the .bps patch file for the version you want from the file list below.
STEP 2: Get the original unpatched game ROM as a file in .gbc or .gb format, international english, Red Version or Blue Version depending on the version you want to play. Search it up online or ask your friends how to get it. You can dump an official cart for example, but there are other ways as well! If you want to play PureGreen, get the original Blue Version ROM file.
STEP 3: Use an online patcher or the software Floating IPS to patch the original game. Basically, you are applying the .bps patch file to the original game's .gb or .gbc file.
STEP 4: Open the resultant .gbc or .gb file with software that can run .gbc or .gb files to play the game.
Always use these patch files on the original game's .gbc or .gb file. Don't try to use any on a game that's already been patched, or a previous version of PureRGB. It won't work.

BUGFIXES
Fixes for Bugs I caused:
- BUG: Possible to encounter marowak spirits and catch them via glitches FIX: change glitch encounters to these specific pokemon that are supposed to be uncatchable to caterpie
- BUG: Missingno can cause duplication of key items, which can cause them to not be removed when not being needed anymore (secret key, etc) FIX: prevent duplication of key items since it's pointless anyway
- BUG: White screen after beating fighting dojo master FIX: Fade in correctly before he speaks
