StremioX v0.1.7 (tvOS)
Player + navigation fixes. Sideload StremioX-tvOS-v0.1.7.ipa onto your Apple TV.
Fixed
- Player controls work. Pressing the remote brings the control bar up, it stays up while you use it, re-appears after it auto-hides, and a directional press no longer makes the player vanish or exit to the Apple TV home. (Root cause was a cancelled auto-hide timer that hid the bar on every press, plus a tvOS focus issue — both fixed.)
- Tabs auto-open on focus again. Moving across the top tab bar switches to that tab immediately — no need to click each one.
- You can move up from a page to the tab bar. e.g. from Log Out in Settings, Up returns to the navigation bar.
- Server-configuration buttons are all reachable. "Save & Use", "Test", and "Use Embedded" can each be focused (they were stuck before).
- Streaming-server status is reliable. The embedded server's status now polls, so a slow cold-start shows "Online" once it's up instead of getting stuck on offline.
- Plus: redesigned control bar, Korean/CJK subtitles (no more tofu boxes), smoother 4K playback + caching.
Verified on the tvOS simulator
Player: show on press, stays on press, re-shows after auto-hide, left/right navigates the controls, never exits. Shell: tabs switch as focus crosses them, Up moves from page content back to the tab bar, server config buttons all focusable, server shows Online.
The iOS build is unchanged from the prior release.
