New

• Settings > Runtime > Game language: pick the language games see as the system language. Useful for games without their own language option, like Asgard's Wrath 2. "System language" keeps following Windows or Linux.

Fixed

• Ghost Giant and other 32-bit games could load forever on some PCs. On those runs Venture fell back to a much slower memory mode; it now keeps the fast one.
• The Climb 2 looked cross-eyed, and appeared as a flat panel on Virtual Desktop. Thanks to Saikava.
• ForeVR Darts crashed at start. Thanks to Saikava.
• The 7th Guest VR crashed at start with recent NVIDIA drivers while Steam was running.
• Robo Recall took a very long time to load levels.
• Double-clicking Play could quit the game right after it started (Quit game takes the Play button's place). Quit game now ignores clicks for 3 seconds after a launch.
• Venture could say a game was missing an expansion file (.obb) when it had stopped for another reason. It now only says so when the game itself reports the missing file.

If a game crashes or freezes on this version, please send a new debug report: after a crash, use Report issue on the game's page; after a freeze, use Settings > Upload debug report.

Everything from 0.1.4 is included.

Install

Windows 10/11: download Venture-windows64-setup.exe and run it.

Linux: pick the file for your distribution.

Then: start your headset's runtime (SteamVR or Quest Link on Windows, Monado on Linux), open Venture, sign in with Meta, choose Install on a game and press Play.
