BUGFIX: send query parameters in the request body when the HTTP method setting is POST, so large queries no longer fail with 431 Request Header Fields Too Large behind proxies that limit the URL length. The same applies to metadata requests such as label and series lookups. See #550.

• Note: VictoriaMetrics still limits the query length with its -search.maxQueryLen flag (16 KiB by default), so very long expressions need that flag raised on the VictoriaMetrics side. See the list of command-line flags.

BUGFIX: keep WITH templates intact when ad hoc filters or the Filter for value action in Explore add label filters to a query. Previously such queries were rewritten into invalid MetricsQL and failed with a 422 error. Filters are now also added to every or alternative inside {...} and to metrics defined inside WITH templates, and label values are escaped. See #551.

BUGFIX: keep the dashboard in its folder when saving WITH templates. Previously the save request did not pass the folder, so Grafana moved the dashboard to the root level, which made it unavailable to users without permissions on the root folder. See #563. Thanks to @evkuzin for contributing.

BUGFIX: show the Dashboard has been modified message when saving WITH templates on Grafana 13. Grafana 11 and 12 report a stale dashboard version with the documented HTTP 412, while Grafana 13 responds with HTTP 409, which previously left the dialog open without any message. See #563. Thanks to @evkuzin for contributing.

BUGFIX: fix WITH templates in Explore: a saved template used to be ignored, now it is applied to the query and kept after a page reload, in shared Explore links and after Add to dashboard.

BUGFIX: show the metrics of a query that uses a WITH template in the Export data dialog. Previously such a query had no selectors to export.
