FEATURE: add a
Drilldownbutton to the query editor that opens a drawer for exploring logs without writing LogsQL. The main view breaks the logs down by field, by stream field and by message pattern. Adding any filter chip opens a details view with a volume chart and theLogs,Stream fields,FieldsandPatternstabs. See Drilldown docs and #424.- Note: for now, the

FEATURE: in Explore, request the logs volume histogram after the
Raw Logsquery answers, so the logs appear as early as possible. -
FEATURE: load the Explore logs volume histogram bar by bar when VictoriaLogs has not started answering a request within 3 seconds, so a specific moment can be zoomed into without waiting for the whole range. The behaviour can be switched off per query with the new
Incremental hits loadingoption. See Incremental hits loading docs and #690. -
FEATURE: pick the logs volume bucket step the same way the VictoriaLogs UI does: the closest of its steps from
1sto364d, with the number of buckets following the panel width. Buckets are aligned to calendar boundaries in the dashboard timezone, and weeks start on Monday. -
BUGFIX: stop highlighting commas in the logs panel when the query uses a LogsQL filter with a comma-separated argument list, such as
seq("foo", "bar")orcontains_common_case("foo", "bar"). See #725. -
BUGFIX: fix a browser tab freeze when the query contains a pipe inside parentheses, for example a subquery filter like
_msg:in(* | fields _msg).
