Release notes for version 0.48.0

Release date: 12 Oct 2026

• bump version of VM components to v1.154.0
• bump victoria-metrics-common dependency to 0.4.*. Resource names are unchanged.
• bump victoria-metrics-k8s-stack dependency from 0.72.* to 0.95.*, which is compatible with victoria-metrics-common 0.4.*. Dashboards and default alerting rules of the bundled stack are now provisioned by its sync job instead of static ConfigMap and VMRule objects.
