Full-arm IK
- Your whole arms now follow your controllers, shoulders to fingers, instead of floating hands. It's on by default.
- The game still borrows your arms for takedowns, chokes and climbing, then hands them back smoothly.
- Fit it to your body: F10 > IK > IK shoulder position and arm length. Adjust shoulder height, depth and width, then arm length, until the virtual arm meets your hand.
- Prefer floating hands? Turn Full-arm IK off in the same tab.
Grab things with your hands
- Reach out and squeeze the grip to take loot, read books and notes, open doors, pull levers, and pick up things to throw.
- Each hand grabs for itself, and your hand opens as it gets close. Settings are in the new F10 > Interact tab. The Interact button still works.
New
- The Heart is a complete object: it has a back now.
- DLSS and FSR in the launcher, next to resolution.
- Cutscene arms (experimental): keep your own arms in cutscenes. Off by default, in F10.
Improved
- Keyhole peeking: your view now goes through the keyhole instead of sitting inside the door. Adjustable in F10 > Comfort.
- The HUD sits more centred by default.
- A cleaner F10 menu, with grabbing on its own tab and test tools moved to Debug.
- Crouch toggle is on by default, and takedowns no longer show the game's forearms.
- Smoother AFW: a small hitch every 5 seconds is gone, and hands keep up better with fast head turns.
Fixed
- The mask's zoom (spyglass) now works in VR: hold the right controller to your right eye and pull the trigger, or tap the right stick.
- One eye stuttering on slower GPUs (since 1.0.2), and a rare sideways flicker in one eye.
- The view shrinking into a small box, or going flat, when a conversation opens a shop.
- The still arms pointing behind you on the opening boat ride.
- The Heart's glow, and the Blink and Possession effects, sliding off your hand while walking.
- Objective text flickering and HUD pieces splitting apart.
- SteamVR chosen in the launcher but Virtual Desktop opening when the game ran as administrator.
- VR not starting when ReShade's VR layer was installed, and ReShade problems: it now starts after a launcher install, and F10 shows and applies your preset.
