Leaf 0.5.0 adds an optional Cover Flow home layout, smarter ROM scanning (subfolders and automatic multi-disc playlists), friendly arcade game names, and a batch of fixes from 0.4.0 feedback.
Cover Flow
- New Settings → Appearance → Layout → Home Layout switches the home screen between Tabs (the classic list) and Coverflow, a box-art carousel with glossy 3D console art.
- In Coverflow, press X on a game for search and its Options (rename, core, performance, scrape).
- Tabs stays the default; nothing changes unless you switch.
Smarter ROM scanning
- The scanner now reads subfolders, so folder-per-game layouts (for example
Roms/PSX/<Game>/<Game>.cue) work. - Multi-disc games get an automatic
.m3uplaylist: name the discs(Disc 1),(Disc 2), and Leaf groups them into a single entry so you can swap discs from the in-game menu. Hand-made.m3ufiles are still respected.
Arcade names
- Arcade and Neo Geo games now show their real titles (for example
mslugbecomes Metal Slug) instead of cryptic ROM-set names. - Drop a
map.txtin a system's folder to override any name.
Fixes
- Fixed the save-state button occasionally bleeding a press into the game on resume.
- Bluetooth preference now persists across reboots, and the status icon no longer goes stale.
- Fixed inverted A/B confirm/cancel in the RetroArch quick menu.
- Muted the audio codec on standby.
