Leaf 0.4.0 adds Pak Rat, makes N64 faster, and fixes a charging/sleep annoyance.
Pak Rat
- Added Pak Rat, Leaf's built-in app store.
- Browse available apps from the launcher instead of manually copying
.pakfolders to the SD card. - Install, update, restore, and uninstall supported apps directly on-device.
- Removing a Pak Rat app keeps its saved data.
Nintendo 64
- Added standalone Mupen64Plus as the default N64 option for better performance.
- N64 games still use
Roms/N64; no new folder or migration needed. - Rice is the default renderer because it is lighter and usually faster.
- GLideN64 is also available for games that need better visual accuracy or have graphics issues in Rice, though it may run slower.
- RetroArch N64 remains available as an alternate core.
Power
- Fixed a power-button sleep issue where charging could behave incorrectly, or appear stuck, after pressing power while plugged in.
- Screen-off charging should now behave more like stock.
