A v0.6.0 preview, hot off the workbench. This build gathers a run of launcher
polish plus a couple of genuinely new toys since 0.5.2.
New
- Grayscale themes. Two monochrome color schemes, Ebony (dark) and Birch
(light), for a clean black-and-white look. They sit at the end of the list in
Settings > Appearance > Color Scheme. - Custom colors reach the muted tones now. The color picker gained a
saturation control (L2 / R2), so you can dial in soft, desaturated colors
instead of only fully-saturated ones. - Beta update channel. A Stable / Beta toggle at the top of System Update
lets you opt into tester builds like this one - it's how you got here, and how
you'll get the next one.
Improved
- Favorites are sorted A to Z instead of by when you added them.
- Your ROM folders are pre-created. On first boot Leaf lays down the folder
for every system (using the recommended names), so you can drop games in
without hunting the docs. Folders you already have are left alone. - Cover Flow is tidier with small shelves. A row with only a few games no
longer repeats or snaps cards across the screen, and a game with no box art
falls back to its system icon instead of a blank card. The system icon set was
refreshed and expanded, too. - Home Tabs and Startup Tab moved to Settings > Appearance > Layout, next to
the rest of the look-and-feel settings. - The charging icon shows your real battery level and animates only the part
left to fill.
