The first full release. See SETUP.md to install. If you have 0.4.0, the launcher's updater can install 1.0 in place; your saves and settings are kept.
Much faster. The renderer's work is now split across threads and a lot of repeated per-draw work is skipped. On our test PC (RTX 5080, 1080p, uncapped) the spawn point went from about 65 to 110 fps and camera pans from about 80 to 130+, and the busiest city street now runs at about 70. Stutter dropped too: on that street, frames slower than 20 ms went from about 60 to about 2 per 30 seconds. The game is still capped at 60 fps by default.
Graphics options. The launcher has a new GRAPHICS tab: internal resolution up to 4K, FXAA, texture filtering, and Aspect ratio (16:9, 16:10, 21:9, 32:9, 4:3). Wider ratios show more of the city instead of stretching the picture. The same settings are on a new PC Settings page in the game's own menus.
New keys. F3 shows an fps counter. F11 switches between fullscreen and a window. (RenderDoc capture, for developers, moved to F9.)
Camera turn speed. Launcher → CONTROLS has a slider from 0.25x to 4x. It works at any frame rate and also scales mouse look.
Co-op is easier to set up. Launcher → SETTINGS → GAMEPLAY has a Co-op section: tick it, choose Player 1 (host) or Player 2 (join), and enter both PCs' addresses. Before, Play Now - Co-op stayed greyed out unless you edited crackdown.toml by hand. Co-op still runs at 30 fps.
Language. Launcher → GAMEPLAY → Language picks the game's language (10 languages; the disc may not include all of them).
Launcher. It no longer re-checks every game file each time it opens; unchanged files are remembered. VERSION.txt is now one line, so third-party launchers show the version correctly (#3).

No game data included; you must supply your own Crackdown (World multi-language) disc dump. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Microsoft.
