This preview lets mods add their own 3D battle monsters and Field Spells, lets you keep mods in a folder of your choice, and makes the game start and run faster, most of all on Android. AI Hard Mode plays smarter. Existing saves and settings carry over, and mods made for v0.1.2, v0.2.0 and v0.3.0 still work. Save states from v0.3.1-preview.1 load if you extract over your old folder.

Added
- Mods can add their own 3D battle monsters, with no limit on how many or how big (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- Mods can add Field Spells with their own board pictures (thanks yamyi)
- A Mods folder... button in the Mods window: keep your mods in any folder you like (Android asks for All files access). FM Editor uses the same folder (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- Import takes mod packs up to 4 GB and runs in the background with progress and a Stop button (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- Android: opening or sharing a mod's .zip with the game imports it (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- Android: every mod in your chosen Mods folder now works, code mods included, with nothing to import (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- Touch controls: an optional Simple style with a handheld layout and MENU/STATES/SPEED buttons. The current layout stays the default (thanks 2ez4gcx)
- Video > Fast HD pack drawing (Automatic by default) for faster HD texture packs (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- AI Hard Mode plays attack spells first, weighs Shadow Spell and Swords of Revealing Light, and stops making attacks that gain nothing (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- Modders: mod API 23 adds the mouse, overlay pictures drawn on the GPU and animated title backgrounds; API 24 adds the mouse as a pointer and the wheel (thanks Syzzle07)
Fixed
- Faster starts and smoother play: texture packs, card art, audio and the software renderer all do less work. A 2,000-card mod now starts in about a minute on Android instead of ten (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- With the HD pack, the Build Deck, Library and a duel's first frames no longer freeze for a moment while their pictures load (thanks MaChInEgUn3)
- The FIELD indicator no longer shows through the large card preview in duels (thanks gabriel-quina)
- A battle started from a save state now plays the same every time (save states are 256 KB bigger)
- Importing a mod whose mod.json is over 4 MB keeps the mod's own name
- Android and macOS: code mods that read files or parse numbers now load
