This preview gives monsters their own effects, splits equip boosts into ATK and DEF, and brings back a much improved FM Editor. Existing saves and settings carry over, and mods made for v0.1.2 and v0.2.0 still work; save states from v0.2.0 don't load.

To update, extract over your old folder. A new install asks for your own USA (SLUS-01411) .bin disc image; no game data is included.
Added
- Monster effects: mods can make a monster heal, deal damage and more when it is summoned, flipped, attacks or is destroyed, with the game's own LP splash
- Equips can boost ATK and DEF by different amounts
- Mods can colour card names, descriptions and guardian stars (thanks yamyi)
- Booster packs can show their whole picture in the shop, and cards a mod adds can be bought with passwords
- The save menu shows your Free Duel wins and losses
- Up and Down show the next card while browsing your chest before a duel (thanks d02d02)
- The Mods window lists every overlap between your mods and which one wins
Fixed
- The CPU no longer freezes when a mod turns a card into another kind of card
- HD textures stay after loading a save state, and a loaded state carries on exactly as it was saved
- Linux: music no longer cuts in and out
- The Password screen's digits show on Windows too with mods imported from the FM Editor
FM Editor
- Undo, recovered drafts after a crash, and backups on every save
- Marks what differs from the original game, links cards across tabs, and right-click > Where used
- Magic and trap cards get an Effect list (the CPU plays them as that card), and monsters get an Effects box
- Sort lists by column, edit starchip prices, and separate ATK/DEF equip boosts
- Fits 1080p and smaller screens, sized to the monitor it opens on
- ROM hack import is now an experimental option you turn on
