How to change Hachimi's translation source to UmaTL.
ℹ️ This should no longer be required when using the latest Hachimi-Edge. You can safely skip this whole page.
Important
Make sure you're on Hachimi v0.14.0 or later!

Open the hachimi folder found in your game install folder.
The default install folders are:
- DMM:
C:\DMMGames\Umamusume - Steam:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\UmamusumePrettyDerby_Jpn - Android:
android/media/jp.co.cygames.umamusume(might differ with phone brand)
Open the config.json file in a text editor. If it doesn't exist, or you don't want to edit it yourself, check the section below for a premade file.
Find meta_index_url and replace the link so the line looks like this (keep the comma!):
"meta_index_url": "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/UmaTL/hachimi-meta/main/meta.json",
Save the file.

⚠️ Before you use these, make a backup of your existing file. If you run into issues, you can restore it and try the manual method.
Attached below is a default config file for Hachimi, set up with UmaTL's source and 2 recommended text display settings. Otherwise identical to Hachimi's default.
Windows: Get config.json
Android: Rename the android config to remove the _android part.
