- New model: Parakeet Ultra 0.6B, Moondream's retrained Parakeet TDT 0.6B v3. It has the same size, speed and 25 languages and was more accurate in our test (4.05 % against 4.96 % word error rate on 50 FLEURS clips in German, English, French, Spanish and Italian). It is now the recommended model; Parakeet TDT 0.6B stays available and your current selection is kept.
- Model files for Parakeet Ultra are checked against pinned SHA-256 hashes after download.
- Dictionary boosting and the history label for Parakeet Ultra need the next TypeWhisper app build.
