Gemini 1.1.2 reduces the wait after live dictation and prepares a fresh connection for the next dictation.
- Recognizes transcription completion before or after hotkey release, including when digital silence follows a completed turn.
- Limits the finalization wait to three seconds and keeps available transcription text if finalization times out or the connection closes.
- Prepares one unused connection after a successful dictation for a faster subsequent start. Settings must match, and aging or failed connections are replaced automatically. Each dictation starts with a fresh server context.
Requires TypeWhisper 1.7.0 or later and macOS 14 or later. No Plugin SDK upgrade is required. Includes Intel and Apple Silicon support.
