TypeType for Android 1.4.0

TypeType for Android 1.4.0 adds new ways to manage your account and makes
playback more reliable across different devices, networks and TypeType
instances.

The application is still in beta. Thank you to everyone testing it, reporting
problems and helping improve the Android experience.

What is new

• Create and manage private RSS feeds from your subscriptions when supported by
  your TypeType instance.
• Choose which subscriptions and types of content appear in each RSS feed.
• Hide live streams from the subscriptions feed.
• Connect to TypeType instances running directly on your local network.
• Clearer YouTube sign-in availability and recovery for each account and
  instance.
• Subtitles are now loaded directly by the Android application and no longer
  depend on the TypeType-Server subtitle endpoint.
• Better audio-track selection, including improved handling of original and
  dubbed audio.
• More reliable subscription feeds after temporary network or server outages.
• Smoother Shorts playback and transitions between videos.
• Cleaner playback behavior when the application is removed from recent apps.
• Simpler channel browsing and discovery controls.

Features provided by newer TypeType-Server versions appear automatically when
they are available. Older instances remain usable without showing unsupported
controls.

TypeType for Android supports Android 6.0 through Android 17 and does not
require Google Play Services.
