This release builds on the 8.4.0 release and is the first "real" release in the 8.4 series. Since 8.4.0 we:
- Fixed an issue that causes files to be allocated on your disk when fetching torrent metadata.
- Added an advanced bandwidth allocation widget to the GUI, based on the time of day.
For Mac users
Our .app signing is currently broken (issue #8835). This means that you will have to manually tell your Mac to clear the "quanrantine this app because it was downloaded from the Internet"-flag using one of the following command in your terminal:
xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Tribler.app
