We're proud to present the first stable release of the 8.0 series and we would like to thank everyone who participated in testing the pre-release.
To import your old downloads and old decentralized torrent listing from Tribler 7.14, go to Settings / Versions and click the IMPORT button.
Some big differences between 8.0 and 7.14:
- Tribler now has a web GUI.
- Anonymous downloading is now powered by Rust and much faster.
- The disk space required for Tribler went down by roughly 400 MB.
