DeskBox 1.5.6

DeskBox 1.5.6 is a feature update: widgets now belong to the display they sit on with per-combination layouts that reflow elastically across scales, backup restores adapt to the machine they land on, widgets can be dressed up (icons, backgrounds, panorama), the settings window got an information-architecture pass, and a pre-release file-safety audit round closed every reachable data-loss path.

Highlights

• Widgets belong to their display. Dragging a widget to a screen makes that screen its home; every combination of connected displays keeps its own arrangement. Unplugging moves its widgets to a remaining screen after a short grace period (or collapses them into capsules); replugging returns every widget to its exact spot. A new Displays page identifies screens, pins layouts in one click, and sets the default display for new widgets.
• Layouts reflow elastically across scales. Profiles record sizes and anchors per display instead of raw pixels, so 1080p ↔ 4K switches, remote sessions, and DPI round-trips reflow the arrangement instead of stretching widgets or leaving gaps; Windows-side changes (primary switches, rearrangement, full-screen games, late docks) no longer shuffle widgets at all.
• Restores adapt to the machine. A full restore onto another PC or account re-registers startup per the backup's state, rebases account-local paths into the current profile, and reports what was adapted; Store-edition restores complete instead of failing at relaunch.
• Dress up your widgets. Emoji or image icons, per-widget backgrounds with fit and dim, border styles, three global background modes (material, unified image, or a panorama where each widget frames its own slice), and a text-shadow toggle.
• Record your own hotkeys. A press-to-record editor accepts any Win / Ctrl / Alt / Shift combination or a lone F1–F24 key — including chords Windows reserves, like Win+V or Alt+Space.
• A tidier Settings window. Low-frequency settings fold into accordions, pages put fundamentals first, sections slide in and out like Windows' own Settings, destructive actions ask before acting, and notifications deep-link to the settings page they concern. The file-stacking page is reorganized into reveal mode and automatic-stacking accordions with the master switch retired.
• Safer storage migration. Moving files into managed storage is copy-verified with preview, per-phase progress, and resumable retry; originals are never deleted.
• Run quietly. Silent startup keeps DeskBox hidden until the first tray click or hotkey; elevated launches explain the drag-and-drop restriction and offer a one-click restart at normal privileges.
• File-safety hardening. A three-round pre-release audit found zero P0 paths and fixed every reachable data-loss path: unconfirmed restores are discarded, deletions honor the Recycle Bin promise on every volume type, and attachment removal can only touch managed copies.
• Memory and CPU housekeeping, plus a run of retail-only AOT fixes (weather overlay, cursors, transparency advisory, cloud-backup password box) and feedback-driven repairs (Win10 drag-outs, tray double-click, WeChat/QQ clipboard images, cross-volume import honesty).

Platform: Windows App Runtime 2.5.1, .NET 10.0.12, and the Windows 10 floor drops to build 19041 (version 2004).

Downloads and verification

GitHub Releases installers

The direct installers are Full Native AOT builds with the bundled private Windows App Runtime. Installers are currently unsigned. Verify the SHA-256 checksums after downloading.

Microsoft Store upload

This combined .msixupload is the only file from this section intended for Partner Center. It contains DeskBox_1.5.6.0_x64_arm64.msixbundle plus the matching x64 and ARM64 .appxsym files. The internal bundle is version 1.5.6.0 and has SHA-256 F4AAEB9CC0F4F29C388A4DBC874B1F03013CC5F92DF49F6E843FE2B8C9C0F174.

The two single-architecture .msixupload files produced during per-architecture auditing are intermediate evidence only and must not be submitted as the final DeskBox Store release.

Both direct installers and the combined Store upload were produced from the source tree of commit fc9c2f498b9a25df9b48823e791b7f3826e94b3b.

Validation

• x64 full test suite: 5394/5394 passed (2026-10-12, final working tree with the multiscreen, restore-recovery, file-stack reorganization, music hide-timeline, and capsule/icon fix batches).
• x64 and ARM64 Native AOT retail publish and Full installer packaging verified locally for both architectures on 2026-10-12.
• The combined Store bundle was unpacked again; both payload hashes matched the audited inputs, and both per-arch package audits passed (121 files each, identity pinned, WinAppRuntime floor 2.5.1).

• 快捷键自己录。 按住即录，Win/Ctrl/Alt/Shift 任意组合或单独 F1–F24，Win+V、Alt+Space 等系统保留组合也能录入。
• 更清爽的设置窗口。 低频设置收进风琴、页面基础项靠前、Windows 式滑入转场、危险操作先确认、通知深链直达；文件叠放页重组为展开方式+自动叠放两风琴，总开关退役。
• 更安全的收纳迁移。 先复制后校验：预览、分阶段进度、可恢复重试，源文件绝不自动删除。
• 安静运行。 静默启动隐藏到首次唤回；提权启动说明拖拽限制并一键降权重启。
• 文件安全加固。 发版前三轮审计零 P0，修复全部可达数据丢失路径：未确认还原丢弃、删除在所有卷类型兑现回收站承诺、附件移除只碰托管副本。
• 内存与 CPU 治理、零售 AOT 修复一批（天气遮罩/光标/透明提示/云备份密码框）与反馈驱动修复（Win10 拖出、托盘双击、微信 QQ 剪贴板图片、跨盘导入诚实收尾）。

平台：Windows App Runtime 2.5.1、.NET 10.0.12，Windows 10 支持下限降至 19041（2004 版）。

GitHub Releases 安装包

两个直接安装包都是 Full Native AOT 构建，并内置匹配架构的私有 Windows App Runtime，不需要另外下载 .NET 10 或 Windows App Runtime。安装包目前未进行 Authenticode 签名。下载后请校验 SHA-256。

Microsoft Store 上传包

Partner Center 只需要上传这个合并后的 .msixupload。其中包含 DeskBox_1.5.6.0_x64_arm64.msixbundle 以及匹配的 x64、ARM64 .appxsym 文件。内部 bundle 版本为 1.5.6.0，SHA-256 为 F4AAEB9CC0F4F29C388A4DBC874B1F03013CC5F92DF49F6E843FE2B8C9C0F174。

分架构构建时产生的两个单架构 .msixupload 仅用于审计，不能作为最终商店包提交。

两个直接安装包和合并商店包都来自源码提交 fc9c2f498b9a25df9b48823e791b7f3826e94b3b 的源码树。

验证状态

• x64 全量测试共 5394 项，全部通过（2026-10-12，最终源码树含多屏、还原适配、文件叠放重组、音乐时间线与胶囊/图标修复批）。
• x64 与 ARM64 的 Native AOT 零售发布及 Full 安装包打包于 2026-10-12 本地双架构验证通过。
• 合并商店包重新解包核验：双架构载荷哈希与审计输入一致，双架构包审计均通过（各 121 文件、身份钉死、WinAppRuntime 2.5.1 地板）。
