DeskBox 1.4.1

DeskBox 1.4.1 is a focused reliability and interface-polish update. File-widget scrollbars now stay hidden until they are needed, and Hide All no longer allows a delayed desktop-layer callback to reopen widgets after the user hides them.

Highlights

• Scrollbars appear only during activity. File-widget grid and list layouts reveal their vertical scrollbar during pointer, wheel, or keyboard interaction, then hide it after three seconds without input.
• Hide All keeps widgets hidden. DeskBox cancels pending automatic and topmost safety restoration as hiding begins.
• Stale restoration is blocked centrally. Hidden, actively hiding, and closing windows reject delayed desktop-layer restoration, covering both ordinary content widgets and Quick Capture.
• Lifecycle cleanup is complete. Scrollbar timers stop when their file surface is unloaded or disposed.

Download and verification

The GitHub Release provides framework-dependent installers for both architectures.

• DeskBox_Setup_1.4.1_x64.exe supports most Intel and AMD PCs.
• DeskBox_Setup_1.4.1_arm64.exe supports native Windows on ARM PCs.
• Each installer is accompanied by a SHA-256 sidecar.

These locally produced installers are not Authenticode-signed.

The installer reuses compatible .NET 10 Runtime and Windows App Runtime 2.2 installations and downloads only a missing architecture-matched dependency.

• 定时器生命周期完整。 文件界面卸载或释放时会停止滚动条定时器。

下载与校验

GitHub Release 提供两种框架依赖安装包。

• DeskBox_Setup_1.4.1_x64.exe 适用于大多数 Intel 和 AMD 电脑。
• DeskBox_Setup_1.4.1_arm64.exe 适用于原生 Windows on ARM 电脑。
• 每个安装包都会提供对应的 SHA-256 校验文件。

本机生成的两个安装包尚未进行 Authenticode 签名。

安装程序会复用兼容的 .NET 10 Runtime 和 Windows App Runtime 2.2，只在缺少对应架构依赖时下载安装。
