🛠️ Update 1.6.25 — Firefox 144 Compatibility & New AI Image Logic (Beta)
This version ensures full compatibility with Firefox 144+ and introduces a new AI-assisted image analysis system (beta).
🧩 Firefox 144 Compatibility
Firefox 144 removed the legacy CSS2Properties interface, which some extensions still relied on.
UltimaDark now uses the modern CSSStyleProperties interface instead, guaranteeing seamless operation on all current and future Firefox versions.
Older Firefox builds remain supported through a compatibility layer.
This update restores normal functionality and maintains the same visual behavior users expect.
🤖 AI-Assisted Image Handling (Beta)
UltimaDark now includes an experimental AI module designed to support and enhance the existing heuristic rules for image adjustment.
It helps determine whether an image should:
Be darkened (bright backgrounds),
Be lightened (dark logos), or
Remain untouched (photos or already balanced images).
At this stage:
It's disabled in settings by default, idk how users computers will handle AI.
It is only currently used to detect and exclude photos from modification, ensuring they stay natural and unaltered.
Other images continue to follow the existing, proven transformation rules.
This beta feature paves the way for more intelligent and visually balanced results in future versions.
