PC Settings move inside the game: a new row in the Select menu opens a page in the game's own style over its red mist. F10 is gone.
v1.2.0 - 2026-10-06
Added - PC Settings inside the game, in its own Select menu (F10 is gone)
The PC settings now live in the game. Press Back (Select) during play: the
"IN-GAME MANUAL AND OPTIONS" menu has a new last row, PC Settings, under
"Return to Game". Move onto it with the D-pad or stick like any other row -
the game puts its own skull marker beside it - and press A. A page in the
game's style opens over the menu's red mist: the title where the menu's
header was, the rows in the menu's lettering and greys, the focused row lit
with its explanation underneath, and A Confirm / B Back in the corner. The
D-pad moves, A changes, Left/Right adjust, and B returns to the Select menu.
Every change is saved at once.
The page holds every setting the F10 window had, plus a Performance block
with the live frame rate, CPU, GPU, video and system memory (F8 still shows
the readouts during play). The texture tools - choosing the texture folder,
dumping, processing - need a folder picker and a mouse, so they moved to the
setup screen at launch (hold Shift while starting, or turn on "Show it at the
next launch" on the page); the pack's on/off switch stays on the page, and
F9 still compares it live.
How the row works: the game's menu has 12 rows hard-coded and its list
widget could not take a 13th - moving the cursor there crashed the game.
Small patches let the game's own navigation reach the row and keep its list
from reading past its end, and while the page is open the renderer leaves out
the menu's text so the page sits on the game's real mist.
Upgrading: unzip over your existing install, or use the in-game updater. Settings, saves and texture packs are
untouched. The texture tools (folder, dumping, processing) are now on the setup screen: hold Shift while starting the game.
