Changed - Installing from a disc image now leaves the setup screen ready
After an install finished, the setup screen re-checked the game folder but not
the downloadable content or the saves, so both still showed whatever they had
found before - and the next step was pressing Rescan twice rather than Play.
All three are now re-checked once when an install completes.
The save folder is only re-scanned when one has been chosen, which is the same
condition that enables its own Rescan button: that scan also queues the saves it
finds for import, so running it against nothing would clear a queue nobody asked
to clear.
Fixed - The Resolution setting described ultrawide as impossible
The help text on Resolution said that on a wider-than-16:9 screen the picture is
pillarboxed with Keep aspect ratio on and stretched with it off. That is true
only with Ultrawide (3D) turned off, and it was the whole description - so
choosing an ultrawide resolution read as a choice between black bars and a
distorted picture, while the setting that fixes it sat four rows below with a
description that never mentioned resolution.
Both settings now refer to each other. Nothing about how they work has changed:
Ultrawide (3D) has been selectable on the first-run setup screen, and not greyed
out, since it was added.
Installing: unzip and run ng2.exe. You supply your own disc rip in game\
- no game data is included or distributed here.
Upgrading: unzip over your existing install, or use the in-game updater.
Settings, saves and texture packs are untouched.
