In case you missed it, v1.2.0 isn't happening anymore. Enough has changed from 1.1.0 (which also wasn't released) that I feel it would make the most sense to push this to a major release. As such, I'm going to make a bigger deal out of testing, polishing, and perfecting everything that goes into this release. This is not that vision; Pre1 is just barely functional, but nonetheless, it is functional, and that's all that matters.
Like usual, if you folks find any bugs or issues with any part of the application, please make sure to let us know on our Issues page. So, without further ado, I present to you: GameMaster v2.0.0-Pre1!
v2.0.0-Pre1
- Initial pre-release
- GameMaster is now under GNU AGPLv3 License (e10c07e)
- As per new license, copies of the source are available in the app (7f81a14)
- Updated almost all of the interface (#2)
- Config loading
- Configuration files can now be swapped and exchanged using an in-app tool (a003a30, cc514e2)
- Preset config files are now available (b9931e0, 70fc478, cfeb396)
- On the first-run, a config setup tool will be launched to set up the config (7463b32, ac1d060)
- Config files can be downloaded from the internet on first run (59b5f94)
- Otherwise, custom config files can be created (7463b32, 7214f80, 4a7ba4e, ac1d060)
- Added persistent settings (fda3094)
- Supported in gmConfig v2
- v2 adds time output formatting and "on top" behavior
- This is just the beginning. I plan to use the settings section for way more in future version
- Added "About" page (07313ae)
- uwu
- uwu (c64d317)
It might not read like a lot, but I assure you: a great deal of work has gone into getting GameMaster where it is now. Since the initial commit which represented version 1.0.2, I've changed almost 2700 lines across the entire project; this was no small feat for someone like myself.
I want to thank everyone who tested GameMaster for me: Noname, @qr0n, Vic, Aelke, and @KingParity. Couldn't have done it without y'all!
I'll quit my ramblin', but please, give this release a try and let me know how it does.
Cheers,
TheLittleDoctor
