Add repacks feature, update system, and other improvements
Major refactoring to support frozen executable deployment and add new features:
- Build: Configure PyInstaller for single-file .exe output with proper version embedding
- Config: Fixed persistent settings with added admin mode detection and app data directory management
- App now starts maximized instead of small on the right down side
- Repacks: Add complete PC game repack browser system (FitGirl integration) with caching and poster downloading, refresh button, button for donations to the repackers, upcoming releases. ( i will be adding soon to select which source you want to download from like 1337x and RuTor )
- Updater ( doesn't work yet, it's a placeholder ): Add auto-update checking and installation for released versions
- Downloads: Support multi-file torrent selection and improve libtorrent session initialization ( downloader still meh but better then last time )
- GUI: Lazy-load pages, add system tray integration, move settings to main window, refactor splash screen
- Dependencies: Add beautifulsoup4 for HTML parsing in repack sources
known issues :
- High CPU usage ( for me, 15% ) when scrolling so fast in repacks grid view, it goes back to 0% after
- The description and details scraper for repacks is not perfect, there may be leaked metadata in the description or duplicated details
- Light mode still suck and it's now highlighted
- Repack's search bar only searches currently loaded games in the grid view for now
