Refreshes the Windows launcher's settings and Repair / Verify pages, with consistently aligned sidebar navigation.
- Cleaner Game settings: compact tabs, grouped input and key bindings, separate display/camera/performance/startup cards, and a fixed Save/Cancel footer.
- Dark blue and silver dropdowns, entries, checkboxes, slider and expandable sections match the launcher. Expand Custom resolution to edit width and height.
- Repair / Verify shows separate game and launcher health cards, version/file counts and expandable verification details. A check that finds a problem opens its details automatically.
- Every sidebar item uses the same icon column and label position, with accessible navigation names.
- Settings drafts, key capture/conflict prompts, save/cancel behavior, verification and repair file-preservation rules remain intact.
Existing launchers discover v1.2.9 automatically at startup. No game rebuild or ISO re-import is required. The game release remains v0.2.0-alpha.5; this release contains only the Windows launcher.
Validation: 99 updater/bootstrap/cleanup, 25 settings and 19 maintenance checks; 41 Python tests with seven subtests; three minimize/restore checks; packaged v1.2.8 upgrade, corruption detection, same-version repair, confirmed cleanup, artwork and personal-file preservation checks passed. New layouts were reviewed at normal and minimum sizes; native dropdown, checkbox, FOV and expand/collapse smoke checks passed. Native Mac launcher execution remains unverified.
For manual installation, extract the complete ZIP into the existing installation folder, retaining its Bin and Support subfolders. Checksums, update metadata and source provenance are included. No original game files are included.
