This release adds separate destinations for YouTube Shorts and fixes the placeholder names left by shared-video intake.
Before upgrading
This release adds two database fields. Downgrading to the previous release is not supported after upgrading.
Source names used in output paths are now literal filename components. Slashes and reserved characters become underscores, and template expressions inside names stay literal. Put folder nesting and expressions in the output template. Existing files are not moved when you save these settings; later re-downloads and quality upgrades can use the new destination.
Highlights
- Separate Shorts folders: set an optional Shorts template on a media profile or override it for a source. Blank fields keep the normal output path. Channel posters and NFO files stay at the primary series root. Download settings, source settings. (#153)
- Recognisable shared-video names: share-token and Browse submissions resolve the video title during indexing before the first download, including with source artwork disabled. Prediction and download paths use the selected regular-video or Shorts template. Locks and edits made during a fetch are preserved; stale indexing results are discarded after a source is retargeted. Sharing guide, Browse guide. (#155)
Channel tabs identify Shorts directly. Mixed playlists and fast indexing retain best-effort URL/duration/aspect-ratio detection, which can misclassify short vertical videos.
