IMPORTANT: Please download the release into a new folder to avoid conflicts with previous versions!

Update Highlights

• Updated English translations to base game 3.6.1 (Thank you MamoruKun, Ungoodapple, and cassidy for the updates! Other languages will be updated through the online system over time).
• Updated a few names and entries to be more consistent and clear.
• Improved the mod/.dll updating system, now mod files will automatically update whenever you launch the game (rather than after you close the game) through the Launch Game.bat files packaged with the translation mod.
• Improved Multi-language mod performance in a few ways.

Hotfix 1 (5/2/2026)

• Adjusted the location of the ModUpdateUtil.exe to the Plugins folder to be less prone to replacements. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE NEW HOTFIX INTO A NEW FOLDER TO AVOID CONFLICTS! And do not replace or delete the ModUpdateUtil.exe.
• Packaged in new mod/.dll adjustments for missing translations.

Update (5/13/2026)

• Changed wording from "Beta" to "Release" now that the first set of bugs are ironed out and we have verified the usage of the mod updater.
• Vietnamese and Indonesian translations are currently updated for 3.6.1 and Spanish translation is updated to 3.5.

Installation: Choose either 1

(1). Pre-patched Installation (Recommended)

Just download the file below labeled PvZ.Fusion.3.6.1.Multi-lang.Release.by.Blooms.zip. Extract to a folder whose path does not contain any non-ASCII characters and use PlantsVsZombiesRH.exe or the .bat files to launch the game. This version is MelonLoader only and is NOT compatible with mods that require the BepInEx ecosystem.
Please refer to the ReadMe and the instructions that come bundled in the zip file if you need detailed explanation and consider joining our Discord community if you need further assistance.

• Note: If your game instantly closes when using the Launch Game.bat files, you need to download the .NET 6.0 Desktop Runtime for your system. There is a guide on how to do this in our Discord server in the FAQ channel.

(2). Manual MelonLoader Installation Walkthrough (Optional Alternative)

N.B.: The base game is also included in the pre-patched zip file for the sake of convenience. You are encouraged (but NOT required) to install manually by following the steps below, only if you don't approve of our practice of redistributing the base game files:

1. Download the base game from the developers' Bilibili posts
2. Download and install MelonLoader ver0.7.1 and patch PvZ Fusion via Add Game Manually and selecting PlantsVsZombiesRH.exe
3. Download this .zip file
4. Extract it into the "MelonLoader" folder in your game folder (this will add support for the Better Fusion mods)
5. Download the source code from this page
6. Extract the source code to the "Mods" folder in your game folder

I repeat, The Manual Installation steps above are optional. Please carefully read the instructions in its entirety at least if you are so determined to choose manual installation over the far simpler pre-patched zip file. Do not ask for support if you willingly choose to install manually and run into problems.
