Update release to 2.8.2, now supports BepInEx too
- Fixed numerous bugs in English & Spanish translations
- Japanese translations for 2.8.2 is now 95% done, thanks Annie!
- New Almanac backgrounds faithful to fusion's custom lawn, thanks Ocean Soul!
- Now comes with two separate versions, each supporting a different modloader, choose one to download! Thanks to JustNull and cassidy for the BepInEx port!
- For BepInEx, most modded contents are translated for Vietnamese, and the formerly official Sniper Plus DLC (download from MEGA or Google Drive) now has English support.
- (as of 27/08/2025) [MelonLoader version] fixed Mallet particle in Whack-a-Zombie
- (as of 29/08/2025) [MelonLoader version] fixed various Almanac errors, notably updated Spikeweed tire-popping mechanics
To Install Sniper Plus DLC, just extract the archive and move all .dll files to
[Your Game Folder]\Game Files\BepInEx\plugins.
Known Issues: The Sniper Commando toggle button in the settings menu shows up untranslated. You need to click on it once for the translation to work. In the BepInEx version, the achievement screen is broken.
English name changes:
- Some I, Zombie level names.
- Kelptain Dreadhart > Kelptain Goldbeard, I swear this is the final change for this plant!
- Krakerberus > Hydra Kelp, clearer reference, easier to remember and not a blending. Kraken and Cerberus might be too hard to pick out in the previous name.
- Leviathan-shroom > Kraken-shroom, with Kraken freed up, it can be given to this guy. Leviathan maybe reserved for future Odyssey upgrades.
- Doomise-shroom > Demise-shroom, the reference is clearer but still has "ice" in it.
- Broody Garg > Shepherd Garg, freeing up the word Brood for an upcoming plant.
- Weak Odyssey plants are now called Regular Odyssey plants since they are by no means weak and calling them weak could cause confusions.
- Wailing Wall > Wall of Sighs: More appropriate culturally.
- Removed the -shroom suffix from Doominator and Charmatron.
Pre-patched Installation (Recommended)
Just download the file below labeled [modloader].PvZF.2.8.2.Multi-lang.Pack.v2.By.Blooms.zip, you need to choose a modloader. This is dependent on the mods you want to use alongside with the translation. If you do not use other custom mods, I recommend using the MelonLoader version since the one for BepInEx is new and not tested thoroughly. Extract to a folder whose path does not contain any non-ASCII characers and use either the .exe or the .bat files to launch the game.
Please refer to the ReadMe and the instructions that come bundled in the zip file if you need detailed explanation and consider joining our Discord community if you need further assistance.
