Trailing Spaces on Open Block Tags - v0.9.1

Bash-TPL

A Smart, Lightweight shell script templating engine, written in Bash.

Release - v0.9.1

This release fixes a parsing bug and updates a repo url in the pre-commit yaml config.

Full Changelog: v0.9.0...v0.9.1

Parsing Bug

A line consisting of only a statement delimiter followed by two or more spaces
(e.g., % ) was being incorrectly parsed as a statement line instead of a
statement block start.

example:

test.tpl

# open block tag has 4 trailing spaces
%
    if true; then
        hello
    fi
%
$ bash-tpl test.tpl

printf "%b\n" '# open block tag has 4 trailing spaces'

printf "%b\n" ' if true; then'
printf "%b\n" ' hello'
printf "%b\n" ' fi'
Error: Missing stmt-block close ('%')

Usage of git:// in .pre-commit-config.yaml

Although github officially deprecated usages of insecure git:// urls in 2022(!), it somehow just started affecting my dev/build process.

.pre-commit-config.yaml

- - repo: git://github.com/pre-commit/pre-commit-hooks
+ - repo: https://github.com/pre-commit/pre-commit-hooks

note: This only affects development of the bash-tpl project itself and not end users
