One of the biggest problems with Tauon was that is was crap and not very good. BUT NO MORE!!! With v11 this issue is fixed and Tauon is good now!
Customisable layouts
Sick of the old boring layouts? You can now re-order the UI however you please!
This release moves the layout switcher to the left side as its own button where you can now add, customise and rename your own layouts. Note the original layouts are kept as is and are not editable.
This update includes 3 new widgets (shown):
- Gallery: Compact
- Track: Details
- Visualiser: Spectrogram
How to:
- From layout menu: Select Empty Slot, then again select Edit Mode.
- Right click in empty area and add a Stack.
- Then add a widget from the 'Add...' submenu.
- Exit Edit Mode by pressing layout button again.
Milkdrop updates
- You can now select a "Cut Out" option so you can show through album art (on some presets).
- You can now select presets by name in the new preset selector.
- You can favorite presets to put a star next to them in the selector.
- Enabled on macOS builds now. (Performance issues exist with some presets and not all features are supported)
Improved network loading
Remote tracks should now start faster. Seeking should no longer require a full file download.
Other changes:
- You can now search lyrics in the global search screen.
- New app loading screen backdrop.
- Many settings moved to contextual menus.
- Fixed support for large Jellyfin imports.
- Fixed poor performance on settings UI.
- New setting for rounded window corners!
- MB4/MB5 buttons now cycle layouts.
- Lots of bug fixes.
