These binaries were built manually, not by CI, and this release is the only supported source of the v1.6.2 binary.
This build supersedes v1.6.2-beta.1-manual, which was withdrawn after an urgent fix arrived from the Cosmos team. Do not run the earlier build.
Do not build from source. The tagged tree does not reproduce these binaries: the build links a private cosmos/evm fork that carries security patches held back from public repositories under a disclosure embargo agreed with the Cosmos team. A self-built binary will be missing those patches and will not match the checksums below. Note that tacchaind version reports the same string for both builds, so the version alone does not prove you have the right binary — check the SHA-256.
This release also carries hard-fork logic: the one-shot Aug-2026 state recovery migration in app/hardforks/aug2026/. It is gated on chain-id tacchain_239-1 and height 24,671,476, is supply-neutral, and halts deterministically if its invariants do not hold. On any other chain-id or height it touches no state.
Operators and validators: run only the binaries attached to this release. Verify the SHA-256 before use.
