Multiple bugfixes and minor improvements in this release:
Bugfixes:
- #402 - Correct use of AM/PM in format string dropdown
- #400 - TOM AMO 18.4.0.5 introduced a bug which crashes Tabular Editor when a DetailRowsDefinition is edited. This happens for example when you double-click a table. This release provides a workaround so Tabular Editor no longer crashes.
- #398 - Use system proxy for BPA URL downloads
- #394 - Allow saving custom actions even if no model is loaded
- #387 - Fixed crash when deleting an object that's shown as the root in the Dependency Viewer
- #384 - BPA rules that have an error in their expression will now be reported as Errors and shown in the BPA form
- #383 - Performing a Schema Check on a table with multiple partitions will now also check that all partition queries return identical schema
- #379 - Fixed issue with KPI status/target graphic strings
- #378 - DAX errors on Calculation Items are now reported on the command line during deployment similar to measures and other calculated objects
Improvement
- Tabular Editor's CLI now provides the -T option which will let you output a .trx (VSTEST) file with the results of running the Best Practice Analyzer, running a Schema Check or executing a deployment. This file can then be loaded into your DevOps pipeline to provide a more user-friendly overview of what went wrong.
