This Canary previews a substantial overhaul for v0.9.0, bringing together a refreshed interface, more flexible model configuration, and a redesigned foundation for interacting with your desktop.
✨ Features & 🚀 Improvements
- 🔥 Refreshed Interface: Updated the visual style across chat, settings, and dialogs, with refined typography, spacing, colors, and animations for a more consistent experience.
- 🔥 models.dev Integration: Model presets now draw from models.dev, bringing updated model lists, capabilities, context limits, and pricing information. Catalog caching and built-in fallbacks keep configuration usable when the network is unavailable.
- 🔥 More Control Directly in Chat: The redesigned assistant selector lets you inspect model information and adjust supported reasoning effort without leaving the conversation. A new prompt selector makes it easier to switch system prompts or jump to prompt management.
- 🔥 Rebuilt Screen Understanding: Reworked desktop accessibility integration on Windows and macOS. Experimental visual tools can explore large interfaces in smaller queries, page through long text, and optionally include element coordinates. Element screenshots and capture-based scan effects also receive a redesigned pipeline.
- Isolated Background Processes: Global shortcuts and desktop automation now run in separate processes on Windows and macOS. Each component has independent connection status and automatic recovery, with a manual reconnect action when needed. Startup, shutdown, and background communication have also been reworked.
- Windows Background Service Mode: Enable elevated background components to recognize and interact with administrator applications while keeping the main interface running normally. The installer and settings now manage this capability, and installation, upgrades, and uninstallation use a cooperative shutdown flow.
- Localization and Configuration Improvements: Language resources now load on demand through standard .NET resources, with a redesigned registration lifecycle. Existing assistant configurations migrate to the new model structure, and web search engine settings are now grouped with the web search plugin.

- Fixed the Windows chat window gradually growing in size and refined its shadow handling.
- Fixed macOS Command shortcuts for clipboard operations, sending messages, switching assistants, and chat-window actions.
- Fixed clipboard attachments sometimes inserting a file’s path into the input alongside the attachment, and improved image fallback handling.
- Fixed some file selection dialogs opening without properly blocking their parent window.
- Fixed selection state being lost when reopening certain controls, along with transparency and event-subscription issues.

- 修复了 macOS 上复制、剪切、粘贴、发送消息、切换助手及聊天窗口操作的 Command 快捷键。
- 修复了粘贴文件附件时，文件路径可能同时插入输入框的问题，并改进了图片附件的回退处理。
- 修复了部分文件选择对话框未能正确阻止父窗口交互的问题。
- 修复了重新打开部分控件时选中项丢失的问题，以及透明度和事件订阅相关问题。
