v0.8.2 makes long conversations easier to navigate and everyday chat workflows more flexible. This release introduces visual conversation turn navigation and first-class Mistral AI support, while improving search, attachments, file safety, web browsing reliability, and overall chat stability.

- 🔥 Visual Conversation Turn Navigation: A new navigation rail helps you understand your position in long conversations, preview nearby turns, and jump directly to the one you need. Previews cover replies, tool activity, waiting and error states, and now include timestamps. Choose between Fluid, Simple, or Off in Chat Window settings.
- 🔥 Mistral AI Support: Mistral is now available as a first-class model provider, with presets for Mistral Medium, Small, and Large. The integration supports image input, streaming responses, reasoning content and configurable reasoning effort, tool calls, and usage tracking.
- More Flexible Attachments: Drag and drop any local file, select multiple files at once, or send attachments without accompanying text. Referenced local files are no longer restricted by the inline-content size limit, while copied and directly embedded content retains appropriate safeguards.
- Focused In-Conversation Search: Search can now be limited to all messages, your messages, or assistant replies, making it faster to find the right part of a long conversation.
- Safer File Operations: File tools, approval paths, and patch operations now correctly account for symbolic links and directory junctions. Patch previews distinguish between link entries and their actual targets, making changes easier to understand before approval.
- More Reliable Built-in Web Browser: Everywhere now remembers and reuses the exact browser version it downloaded, cleans up obsolete cached versions, and avoids unexpected version switching or repeated network checks.
- Friendlier Interface Text: Refined a range of labels, descriptions, and messages to make settings and built-in tools easier to understand.
🐛 Bug Fixes
- Fixed a rare crash that could occur while compacting and virtualizing messages in long conversations.
- Fixed concurrency issues that could affect message serialization while replies, tool activity, or metadata were being updated.
- Fixed Windows chat-window shadow and rounded-corner clipping issues related to DirectComposition.
- Fixed actions such as adding or managing API keys and creating or managing prompts sometimes failing when launched from a popup.
- Updated the OpenAI Responses integration for compatibility with current usage handling.
- Improved diagnostics for database initialization failures.

- 修复了长对话在压缩和虚拟化当前可见消息时，少数情况下可能发生崩溃的问题。
- 修复了回复、工具调用或消息元数据正在更新时，消息序列化可能发生并发冲突的问题。
- 修复了 Windows 聊天窗口阴影及圆角裁剪相关的 DirectComposition 问题。
- 修复了从弹出菜单添加或管理 API Key、创建或管理提示词时，操作偶尔无法执行的问题。
- 更新了 OpenAI Responses 集成，以兼容当前的用量信息处理方式。
