The in-game menu. No console restart needed this time: the disc helper is still 171p.

The in-game menu

• In a game, hold L2 + D-pad Down for a second (a small Menu ring fills in the corner). The game pauses and its picture moves into a card next to a menu in the shelf's style.
• Game: resume, save and load states (ten slots, each with its screenshot and when it was saved), fast forward, change disc (games on more than one disc), Settings on your phone (the settings page's address and QR code), Report a problem (a note in the session log, for your #bugs report) and back to the shelf.
• Settings and Controls: the settings page's options, for this game or all games (L1 / R1). Changes are saved at once and apply when the game goes on; the few that need a restart say next start.
• Achievements: the game's RetroAchievements, with their badges.
• L2 / R2 switch tabs; Circle or OPTIONS goes back to the game.
• The buttons are still yours to change: In-game menu: button 1 / 2 on the Controls tab. The empty file flags/noingamemenu brings back the old combo (held for 2 seconds: the settings page in the PS5's browser).

Achievements

• Unlock and sign-in pop-ups show the badge and your avatar again on consoles where they came up without a picture (the PS5's notification screen can't read /data on some jailbreak setups; the pictures now come from /user/data).
